Autoshow in China should be free of sexy models

Shanghai (AFP/ Antara Bali) - The exhibition of vehicles in China must now be free of sexy models in short skirts and tight shirts.

Victor Yang, spokesman for Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd, told Reuters says it has obtained verbal notice of the organizers of the Shanghai auto show.

Notice that essentially prohibits the use of models at the auto show will run for one week from the 20 April 2015.

Officials at the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, which is also involved in the exhibition, said the ban was "under consideration" and the decision will be announced soon. The official did not give further details.

Exhibition vehicles in many places have used the model flawless interesting to enliven booth.

The problem, said Reuters, sometimes the model more attention than the cars on display, especially by amateur photographers.
